GOATS

Sponsored April 2024

Nemo

(Mini Nubian Buck )

We always say we aren't keeping any more of the babies born here.  However not only is Nemo adorable and has a very outgoing personality but he is our first generation of breeding Mini Nubians.  So we felt justified in our decision to let him stick around.  Not only was Nemo born in a really rough weather season, had a minor injury to the leg (hence the name Nemo) but his momma needed some guidance on how to care for a newborn so he holds a special place in our heart and on our farm!  Nemo also LOVES goat yoga!

Penny

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Around a campfire is where all this started.  There was minor talk of getting goats at some point in the future.  Two days later Penny was picked up on the way home from work in the back of a car and Ridge Ranch was offically born.  Although she has a little sas and bossiness Penny symbolizes the birth of the farm.

Tinley

(Nubian Doe)

Although she is the giant in the herd she is very well behaved and loved by visitors.  She does however use her tall body and long neck to get herself into trouble often!  It's a good thing she likes to show off her kind hearted personality when we are doing tours!

Delilah

(Nubian Doe)

Delilah is the sweetest goat you’ll ever meet.  When we take family hikes she enjoys hanging back with mom while the rest of the herd runs ahead.  She enjoys love and attention and is super soft.

Spirit

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Spirit has come a long way, she was super skittish when she first came to the Ranch but is now a partaker in traveling for parties.

Bramble

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Bramble is the silliest of the bunch, she manages to constantly photo bomb all of the other animals.

East

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Can you say moonspots are the best?

North

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Amber

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Amber joined our herd a little later in the game.  She immediately took her job as a "party goat" very seriously.  When arriving at a party she lets kids and adults pet her, brush her and feed her no questions asked.

Jade

(Nigerian Dwarf Doe)

Jade is quite the looker and we are excited to see what her "kids" will look like one day.  She loves her BFF Amber and never travels too far from her.
