We have a variety of chickens: Welsummer, Prairie Bluebells, Olive Eggers, Silkies, Bantams, Ayams, Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Red.

You will find our chickens free ranging during the day.  The purpose of free ranging them is not only for mental stimulation and physical health of the birds but also helps with the biosecurity and pest managment of the farm.  They dig through the larger animal feces and eat insects and insect larve as to help reduce the multiplication of pests.
