LIVESTOCK SALES
At Ridge Ranch, our animals are family first. Every animal raised here is deeply loved, cared for, and handled with intention, and we work hard to ensure each one is matched with the right home and environment.
Before inquiring about a specific animal, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review our preliminary placement process below.
Our Commitment to Responsible Placement
We are committed to placing our animals in safe, knowledgeable, and appropriately prepared homes. Because of this, all potential buyers should expect a screening process prior to approval.
First-Time Livestock Owners
If you are new to livestock ownership, we currently offer consultations for a fee to help prepare you for the realities and responsibilities of caring for large animals. Our goal is to set both you and the animals up for long-term success.
Herd & Companion Requirements
Cows, donkeys, and goats are social animals and require companionship of their own species.
* Cows must live with other cattle
* Goats must live with other goats
* Donkeys must live with another donkey, or with a horse, mule, or pony
No animal will leave Ridge Ranch unless appropriate companionship is already present in the home.
Veterinary Requirements
We do conduct veterinary background checks.
If you are a new livestock owner:
* You must establish care with a large animal veterinarian who is currently accepting new clients
* Please create an account with the practice before reaching out to us
* You must also give your veterinarian permission to speak with us, as we will contact them to verify your account has been established
If you already own livestock:
* Please contact your current large animal veterinarian and give them permission to speak with us regarding your existing animal care
Prior to approval, we require:
* The address where the animal(s) will be housed
* Current photos of the property and living setup
* Images of fencing, shelter, and pasture areas
These steps are not meant to discourage potential owners, but rather to ensure every animal transitions into a safe, prepared, and loving home where they can thrive for years to come.

One of the biggest reasons people are drawn to Zebus is their manageable size compared to standard cattle breeds. Their smaller stature can make handling, housing, and feeding more approachable for small farm owners while still allowing people to enjoy the experience of raising cattle.
Zebus are also known for being hardy and adaptable animals. They tend to do well in a variety of climates and are often appreciated for their efficiency and resilience to disease.
These have all been exposed to a 36in Zebu bull. Up to date on Triangle ten, CDT and Rabies vaccines. Clean tested herd for BVD BLV and Johnes. Inquire for more info.

At Ridge Ranch we proudly raise Lionheads, Holland Lops, and Plush Lops with a focus on temperament, health, and proper socialization. Our bunnies are handled regularly and raised with lots of love to help prepare them for their future homes.
Baby bunnies are able to hop to their new homes at 16 weeks of age. Reservations are accepted between 8–10 weeks and are paid in full to hold your bunny until pickup day. Before going home, every bunny receives a gender recheck to help ensure accuracy.
Our bunnies can thrive either indoors or outdoors when properly cared for. However, we do not recommend frequently moving them back and forth between indoor and outdoor living, as large temperature fluctuations can be stressful and unhealthy for rabbits.
We care deeply about finding the right fit for each bunny and encourage future owners to take time to learn about proper rabbit care, housing, diet, and companionship before bringing one home.

Nigerian Dwarf goat and Mini Nubian goats are beloved additions to farms of all sizes thanks to their friendly personalities, manageable size, and versatility. Whether you are looking for dairy animals, educational opportunities, or simply lovable pasture companions, these breeds bring endless personality and charm to farm life.
Nigerian Dwarfs are known for their small stature, playful personalities, and rich, creamy milk. Their compact size makes them a popular choice for hobby farms and families who want the experience of owning goats without the space requirements of larger breeds. They are curious, social animals that thrive on interaction and quickly become farm favorites.
Mini Nubians combine the best qualities of Nigerian Dwarfs and Nubians. They are slightly larger than Nigerians while still being easier to manage than full-size dairy goats. Known for their signature floppy ears and affectionate personalities, Mini Nubians are excellent family-friendly goats and wonderful additions for those interested in dairy production on a smaller scale.
Both breeds are intelligent, social animals that require companionship and do best with other goats. They are excellent additions for farms focused on education, agritourism, homesteading, or simply creating meaningful connections with animals. Their personalities, playful antics, and affectionate nature make them hard not to love.
At Ridge Ranch, our goats are raised with daily handling and care to help them grow into confident, well-socialized animals. We are passionate about helping each goat find the right home and love sharing the joy these incredible breeds bring to farm life.
