Kune Kune Pigs
Kune Kune pigs are a small, friendly heritage breed known for their adorable round faces, short snouts, and signature tassels (called wattles) that hang from their cheeks. Originally from New Zealand, they are one of the most docile and social pig breeds, making them popular on family farms and for hands-on animal experiences. Kune Kunes stay relatively small—typically 100–250 lbs—and unlike many pig breeds, they prefer grazing on grass, which makes them great for pasture environments. Their calm temperament, curiosity, and love of belly scratches make them a guest favorite and a wonderful addition to any educational or interactive farm setting.
